Local coverage
The Resin Co serves South Wales from 11 Worcester Court in Llansamlet, Swansea. Our coverage includes Swansea, Cardiff, Bridgend, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Glamorgan, Gower and Neath. This regional page brings those areas together; the individual guides consider different settings rather than assuming every property has the same access, ground levels or outdoor layout.
A city driveway, a coastal patio and a rural garden can all need a different approach. For a compact entrance, the important question may be how a car and pedestrian share the space. On a larger site, the priority might be linking parking, a side path and a sheltered sitting area without creating awkward changes of level.
When enquiring, include the town or village, postcode, photographs and the changes you want to make. Mention any narrow access, shared approach or existing drainage concern. These details help focus the conversation on your actual property instead of a regional average or a finish chosen before the groundwork is understood.
Visits across South Wales are arranged around the location and project. We do not publish a region-wide arrival time, same-day assessment promise or emergency response service. Contact us during our confirmed hours, 07:00–18:00 every day, to discuss availability and the next suitable step.

Choosing an installer for your South Wales project should involve more than a photograph of a finish. The Resin Co is owned by Kyle Lewis and serves domestic and commercial clients from Llansamlet, Swansea. Our installer status, insurance and driveway or patio guarantee conditions give you specific facts to discuss alongside the proposed work. Talk through the preparation, intended finish and connections to the parts of your property you want to retain before agreeing the scope.
The Resin Co is a Vuba-approved resin installer and the only Vuba Elite Installer in Wales. This is a confirmed resin installer status, not a claim that every outdoor service carries the same accreditation. Discuss your proposed resin-bound finish and the preparation for your property together, so the material and installation scope are considered as part of one project.
Our confirmed public liability cover is £10 million. Insurance is an important business fact, but it does not define what your estimate includes or replace the need for a clear scope. Ask about the proposed preparation, the features to be retained and the work being priced so your decision is based on both the business and your specific project.
Standard new driveways and patios have a 5-year guarantee. A 10-year guarantee applies where The Resin Co completes full excavation and builds the new driveway or patio from the ground up. The longer guarantee is tied to that construction scope, not simply to a location or finish choice. It should not be assumed to cover all garden renovation or landscaping work.
Before choosing a finish
South Wales coverage spans urban streets, coastal settings and inland sites. A sloping approach needs a different conversation from a level forecourt. Identify where water currently runs, where pedestrians walk and how new surfacing would meet entrances. Changing a surface without understanding the levels can leave the original problem unresolved; the design should respond to the surveyed site rather than a standard layout.
Outdoor surfacing must be considered with drainage, not separately from it. Note puddles, runoff from roofs and any water reaching a doorway or neighbouring boundary. A resin-bound finish does not, by itself, establish that the whole build-up is permeable. The base, falls, ground conditions and discharge route all matter when agreeing the scope for your South Wales project.
South Wales is not one planning authority. A proposal in Cardiff may be assessed by a different council from a project in Swansea or Carmarthenshire. Changes to access, protected buildings or land in designated landscapes can require additional checks. Establish the authority and any restrictions for the property before assuming a new driveway, raised patio or wider garden change can proceed unchanged.
Planning requirements depend on the address and the actual work. The Welsh Government’s householder guidance is a useful starting point, but your local planning authority must confirm any property-specific requirement. No regional page can establish permission for an individual plot.
How it works
01
Contact us with the South Wales address, postcode and the changes you want. Photographs showing the whole area, access and thresholds are more useful than a close-up of the surface alone. Explain normal use, existing concerns and the features you hope to retain so the conversation begins with a practical brief.
02
A site discussion should consider the existing surface, access, levels and drainage alongside your priorities. Where a visit is needed, arrange it directly with us. The purpose is to understand the property and proposed work, not to apply a standard specification or assume a fixed installation time from the area alone.
03
Talk through the proposed finish, preparation, edges and connections to retained areas. Your project is quoted individually. Ask for clarity about what is included, any separate requirements and the guarantee applicable to a new driveway or patio. Do not assume a deposit amount or payment arrangement that has not been agreed.
04
Once the scope is agreed, discuss available dates and practical arrangements for access to the area. Preparation and installation need to reflect the site and chosen system. No universal completion window is stated here. If the work must coordinate with another renovation, explain that before relying on a particular schedule.
05
Discuss the completed area, the agreed connections and any care information relevant to the installed surface. Ask how the applicable driveway or patio guarantee relates to your build scope. Material-specific care and any restrictions on use should be confirmed for the actual installation, not inferred from a generic promise about immediate use or maintenance-free performance.
Our South Wales coverage combines named cities, towns and wider regions. Swansea is the base location; Gower, Glamorgan and Carmarthenshire describe broader areas rather than additional offices. Give us a specific address so the site discussion, access arrangements and estimate relate to your property. Use the linked guides to explore your area, or contact us directly if your nearest settlement is not listed.
FAQs
Yes. South Wales is part of The Resin Co’s confirmed South Wales coverage. We are based at 11 Worcester Court, Llansamlet, Swansea, SA7 9FD and provide resin-bound driveways and patios, tarmac, paving, garden renovation and landscaping for homes and businesses. Send the full address and postcode with your enquiry so the discussion relates to your specific site and the work you want considered.
We do not publish a guaranteed response or arrival time for South Wales. Visits depend on the exact location, project and availability. Contact us during Monday–Sunday, 07:00–18:00 with your postcode and an outline of the work to discuss the next suitable step. Being within our coverage is not a promise of same-day attendance, an immediate survey or a fixed installation date.
Every South Wales project is quoted individually; there is no confirmed fixed price list or standard price per square metre. The area, intended use, existing construction, access, drainage and agreed preparation influence the scope. Photographs and approximate dimensions help start the conversation, but they are not a substitute for agreeing the actual work. Ask about the complete project rather than comparing only the visible finish.
No emergency installation or 24-hour response service has been confirmed for South Wales. Our opening hours are Monday–Sunday, 07:00–18:00. Call or email to discuss an urgent concern and ask about availability, but do not rely on an unconfirmed immediate repair promise. Outdoor project enquiries and agreed installation work should not be treated as an emergency callout service.
The confirmed conditions are the same in South Wales as elsewhere in our coverage: a 5-year guarantee on standard new driveways and patios, or a 10-year guarantee where The Resin Co completes full excavation and builds the new driveway or patio from the ground up. The build scope determines the condition. A resin finish alone does not establish the longer guarantee, and all landscaping work is not automatically included.
Yes. Use the online enquiry form in the contact section to request a free quote for your South Wales project. Include your postcode, service and project priorities. You can also email info@theresinco.co.uk with photographs or call 07957 150136. The estimate button takes you to the form and contact details; every project is quoted individually.
Yes, both services are available across our confirmed South Wales coverage. Describe the complete space and any existing features you want to retain. Combining the discussion helps clarify where parking ends, how paths connect and what the patio or garden needs to achieve. The estimate must still identify the agreed preparation and work for each part.
Use the planning authority responsible for the property, not the council nearest our Swansea base. South Wales includes several authority areas and designated landscapes. Provide details of proposed access changes, raised structures or protected features when asking for advice. A site visit and a material choice do not replace any permission or consent your proposal requires.
