Local coverage
Cardiff is a confirmed service area for The Resin Co, with projects arranged from our Llansamlet base in Swansea. We offer the same outdoor services here as across our South Wales coverage. We do not describe a Cardiff office or assume travel arrangements from a city name alone; the postcode and site details help establish the practical next step.
For a compact Cardiff frontage, the brief may centre on the relationship between a parked vehicle, the gate and the route to the front door. A rear garden can have different constraints: passage width, material access and how a patio connects with the house. Those differences matter more than choosing a surface from a photograph.
Where an older property sits within a conservation area, original walls, boundary features and the appearance of the street may influence proposed changes. On other sites, a contemporary garden layout may be the priority. We focus the project discussion on your property and any relevant requirements, without claiming every Cardiff home belongs to one type.
Contact us with your Cardiff address, the approximate area and photographs showing the entrance or garden. Visits and work dates depend on the project and availability. Our opening hours are 07:00–18:00 daily; there is no confirmed same-day Cardiff response time or emergency installation promise.

Choosing an installer for your Cardiff project should involve more than a photograph of a finish. The Resin Co is owned by Kyle Lewis and serves domestic and commercial clients from Llansamlet, Swansea. Our installer status, insurance and driveway or patio guarantee conditions give you specific facts to discuss alongside the proposed work. Talk through the preparation, intended finish and connections to the parts of your property you want to retain before agreeing the scope.
The Resin Co is a Vuba-approved resin installer and the only Vuba Elite Installer in Wales. This is a confirmed resin installer status, not a claim that every outdoor service carries the same accreditation. Discuss your proposed resin-bound finish and the preparation for your property together, so the material and installation scope are considered as part of one project.
Our confirmed public liability cover is £10 million. Insurance is an important business fact, but it does not define what your estimate includes or replace the need for a clear scope. Ask about the proposed preparation, the features to be retained and the work being priced so your decision is based on both the business and your specific project.
Standard new driveways and patios have a 5-year guarantee. A 10-year guarantee applies where The Resin Co completes full excavation and builds the new driveway or patio from the ground up. The longer guarantee is tied to that construction scope, not simply to a location or finish choice. It should not be assumed to cover all garden renovation or landscaping work.
Before choosing a finish
A narrow side passage or access through a building can affect how a Cardiff garden project is planned. Show the route into the working area, steps and any shared gate when enquiring. Material movement, existing features and the proposed work need to be considered together. Do not assume a small patio means a simple installation if the access or site levels are more involved.
Cardiff Council identifies conservation areas with their own character and planning considerations. If your property is within one, check the implications of changing boundaries, access or visible external features. A resin, tarmac or paving choice should follow that check, not replace it. Photographs of your frontage and a clear description of the proposed changes make both the council conversation and the project discussion more useful.
On a compact urban frontage, parked vehicles can dominate the layout. Consider bin movement, gate opening and the everyday route to the door before deciding how much space to surface. Where water runs towards the house or pavement, drainage also needs attention. The base and levels are part of the installation question; a different finish alone does not resolve a tight or poorly arranged Cardiff entrance.
Cardiff Council’s conservation-area information can help you check a designated setting. Ask the local planning authority about the actual proposal, including any access or boundary change. We do not state that a particular material automatically avoids planning requirements.
How it works
01
Contact us with the Cardiff address, postcode and the changes you want. Photographs showing the whole area, access and thresholds are more useful than a close-up of the surface alone. Explain normal use, existing concerns and the features you hope to retain so the conversation begins with a practical brief.
02
A site discussion should consider the existing surface, access, levels and drainage alongside your priorities. Where a visit is needed, arrange it directly with us. The purpose is to understand the property and proposed work, not to apply a standard specification or assume a fixed installation time from the area alone.
03
Talk through the proposed finish, preparation, edges and connections to retained areas. Your project is quoted individually. Ask for clarity about what is included, any separate requirements and the guarantee applicable to a new driveway or patio. Do not assume a deposit amount or payment arrangement that has not been agreed.
04
Once the scope is agreed, discuss available dates and practical arrangements for access to the area. Preparation and installation need to reflect the site and chosen system. No universal completion window is stated here. If the work must coordinate with another renovation, explain that before relying on a particular schedule.
05
Discuss the completed area, the agreed connections and any care information relevant to the installed surface. Ask how the applicable driveway or patio guarantee relates to your build scope. Material-specific care and any restrictions on use should be confirmed for the actual installation, not inferred from a generic promise about immediate use or maintenance-free performance.
Cardiff sits within our confirmed South Wales coverage alongside Bridgend and the wider Glamorgan area. These links give you neighbouring or regional guides without implying a separate Cardiff branch. For a project outside the city centre, provide the full postcode rather than relying on “Cardiff” as a general address; access, permissions and visit arrangements need to relate to the actual property.
FAQs
Yes. Cardiff is part of The Resin Co’s confirmed South Wales coverage. We are based at 11 Worcester Court, Llansamlet, Swansea, SA7 9FD and provide resin-bound driveways and patios, tarmac, paving, garden renovation and landscaping for homes and businesses. Send the full address and postcode with your enquiry so the discussion relates to your specific site and the work you want considered.
We do not publish a guaranteed response or arrival time for Cardiff. Visits depend on the exact location, project and availability. Contact us during Monday–Sunday, 07:00–18:00 with your postcode and an outline of the work to discuss the next suitable step. Being within our coverage is not a promise of same-day attendance, an immediate survey or a fixed installation date.
Every Cardiff project is quoted individually; there is no confirmed fixed price list or standard price per square metre. The area, intended use, existing construction, access, drainage and agreed preparation influence the scope. Photographs and approximate dimensions help start the conversation, but they are not a substitute for agreeing the actual work. Ask about the complete project rather than comparing only the visible finish.
No emergency installation or 24-hour response service has been confirmed for Cardiff. Our opening hours are Monday–Sunday, 07:00–18:00. Call or email to discuss an urgent concern and ask about availability, but do not rely on an unconfirmed immediate repair promise. Outdoor project enquiries and agreed installation work should not be treated as an emergency callout service.
The confirmed conditions are the same in Cardiff as elsewhere in our coverage: a 5-year guarantee on standard new driveways and patios, or a 10-year guarantee where The Resin Co completes full excavation and builds the new driveway or patio from the ground up. The build scope determines the condition. A resin finish alone does not establish the longer guarantee, and all landscaping work is not automatically included.
Yes. Use the online enquiry form in the contact section to request a free quote for your Cardiff project. Include your postcode, service and project priorities. You can also email info@theresinco.co.uk with photographs or call 07957 150136. The estimate button takes you to the form and contact details; every project is quoted individually.
Describe the current frontage, pedestrian route and whether vehicle access already exists. The available width, thresholds, drainage and any council requirements influence what can be considered. Creating new vehicle access is a separate question from resurfacing an established driveway. We can discuss the proposed work, but a surface choice does not establish that a parking conversion is permitted.
Check the designation and advice for your specific property with Cardiff Council. External changes can involve boundaries, appearance or access as well as the surface itself. Tell us about any known restrictions at the start so the estimate reflects the intended scope. We do not offer a blanket assurance that all driveway or patio work in conservation areas is exempt from consent.
