Local coverage
Gower is part of The Resin Co’s confirmed South Wales coverage, served from our Llansamlet base in Swansea. We provide resin-bound driveways and patios, tarmac, paving, garden renovation and landscaping. The name covers a peninsula rather than one street or town, so the settlement, postcode and approach are useful at the start of your enquiry.
Gower’s designated landscape makes the setting an important part of the conversation. That does not mean every property has the same restrictions, nor that one material is automatically acceptable everywhere. If your project changes access, boundaries or the visible outdoor layout, establish any property-specific requirements before agreeing the work.
A coastal-facing garden may need a different seating position from a sheltered plot. A village entrance may have tighter access than a larger approach. Tell us where people walk, how vehicles use the site and which planting, walls or paths should stay. These are practical observations about your property, not assumptions about every Gower home.
Visits are arranged according to the exact location, scope and availability. We do not publish a peninsula-wide arrival time or an emergency installation service. Contact us during 07:00–18:00 daily with your address and photographs so the next step can be discussed around the actual site.

Choosing an installer for your Gower project should involve more than a photograph of a finish. The Resin Co is owned by Kyle Lewis and serves domestic and commercial clients from Llansamlet, Swansea. Our installer status, insurance and driveway or patio guarantee conditions give you specific facts to discuss alongside the proposed work. Talk through the preparation, intended finish and connections to the parts of your property you want to retain before agreeing the scope.
The Resin Co is a Vuba-approved resin installer and the only Vuba Elite Installer in Wales. This is a confirmed resin installer status, not a claim that every outdoor service carries the same accreditation. Discuss your proposed resin-bound finish and the preparation for your property together, so the material and installation scope are considered as part of one project.
Our confirmed public liability cover is £10 million. Insurance is an important business fact, but it does not define what your estimate includes or replace the need for a clear scope. Ask about the proposed preparation, the features to be retained and the work being priced so your decision is based on both the business and your specific project.
Standard new driveways and patios have a 5-year guarantee. A 10-year guarantee applies where The Resin Co completes full excavation and builds the new driveway or patio from the ground up. The longer guarantee is tied to that construction scope, not simply to a location or finish choice. It should not be assumed to cover all garden renovation or landscaping work.
Before choosing a finish
Gower is a National Landscape, also known through its Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty designation. That context makes early planning checks important, but it is not a blanket statement that every small surface change requires the same consent. Ask about the actual address and proposal. Access alterations, protected buildings and boundary changes should be identified separately from the choice of resin, tarmac or paving.
Where a Gower site is exposed, the location of the sitting area and its connection to the house can be more important than adding surface area. Explain what currently stops you using the garden and where it feels sheltered. We do not promise a universal coastal performance or lifespan for a finish. The construction, layout and site conditions need to be discussed together.
If the property has a narrow approach, older boundary wall or changes of level, include photographs showing those features. Working access and the connection to retained areas may influence preparation. A Gower garden is not necessarily a blank plot, and replacing everything need not be the starting brief. Agree what stays, what changes and any consent requirements before the estimate is finalised.
Swansea Council provides information on Gower’s landscape designation and local planning. Check the requirements for your specific property, particularly any access or boundary changes and protected features. We do not claim designation-free work or automatic permission for a particular surface.
How it works
01
Contact us with the Gower address, postcode and the changes you want. Photographs showing the whole area, access and thresholds are more useful than a close-up of the surface alone. Explain normal use, existing concerns and the features you hope to retain so the conversation begins with a practical brief.
02
A site discussion should consider the existing surface, access, levels and drainage alongside your priorities. Where a visit is needed, arrange it directly with us. The purpose is to understand the property and proposed work, not to apply a standard specification or assume a fixed installation time from the area alone.
03
Talk through the proposed finish, preparation, edges and connections to retained areas. Your project is quoted individually. Ask for clarity about what is included, any separate requirements and the guarantee applicable to a new driveway or patio. Do not assume a deposit amount or payment arrangement that has not been agreed.
04
Once the scope is agreed, discuss available dates and practical arrangements for access to the area. Preparation and installation need to reflect the site and chosen system. No universal completion window is stated here. If the work must coordinate with another renovation, explain that before relying on a particular schedule.
05
Discuss the completed area, the agreed connections and any care information relevant to the installed surface. Ask how the applicable driveway or patio guarantee relates to your build scope. Material-specific care and any restrictions on use should be confirmed for the actual installation, not inferred from a generic promise about immediate use or maintenance-free performance.
Gower is served within our Swansea and South Wales coverage from the Llansamlet base. The Swansea, Llanelli and Glamorgan pages provide neighbouring or wider geographic context; they are not additional business addresses. If access to your property involves a narrow lane or gate, explain it with the location details. The exact site and proposed work determine the visit discussion, not the peninsula name alone.
FAQs
Yes. Gower is part of The Resin Co’s confirmed South Wales coverage. We are based at 11 Worcester Court, Llansamlet, Swansea, SA7 9FD and provide resin-bound driveways and patios, tarmac, paving, garden renovation and landscaping for homes and businesses. Send the full address and postcode with your enquiry so the discussion relates to your specific site and the work you want considered.
We do not publish a guaranteed response or arrival time for Gower. Visits depend on the exact location, project and availability. Contact us during Monday–Sunday, 07:00–18:00 with your postcode and an outline of the work to discuss the next suitable step. Being within our coverage is not a promise of same-day attendance, an immediate survey or a fixed installation date.
Every Gower project is quoted individually; there is no confirmed fixed price list or standard price per square metre. The area, intended use, existing construction, access, drainage and agreed preparation influence the scope. Photographs and approximate dimensions help start the conversation, but they are not a substitute for agreeing the actual work. Ask about the complete project rather than comparing only the visible finish.
No emergency installation or 24-hour response service has been confirmed for Gower. Our opening hours are Monday–Sunday, 07:00–18:00. Call or email to discuss an urgent concern and ask about availability, but do not rely on an unconfirmed immediate repair promise. Outdoor project enquiries and agreed installation work should not be treated as an emergency callout service.
The confirmed conditions are the same in Gower as elsewhere in our coverage: a 5-year guarantee on standard new driveways and patios, or a 10-year guarantee where The Resin Co completes full excavation and builds the new driveway or patio from the ground up. The build scope determines the condition. A resin finish alone does not establish the longer guarantee, and all landscaping work is not automatically included.
Yes. Use the online enquiry form in the contact section to request a free quote for your Gower project. Include your postcode, service and project priorities. You can also email info@theresinco.co.uk with photographs or call 07957 150136. The estimate button takes you to the form and contact details; every project is quoted individually.
It can be relevant, depending on the property and the proposed changes. Check the local planning advice rather than assuming either that all work is prohibited or that a replacement surface is automatically exempt. Explain any access, boundary or level changes and protected features. We discuss your project around the confirmed scope; a material choice does not establish permission in a designated landscape.
Show us the features you want to keep and how they relate to the new patio, driveway or path. Their condition, levels and any protected status need to be considered before the scope is agreed. A garden renovation can be discussed around retained features rather than wholesale replacement, but the feasibility and preparation depend on the actual site and proposed connections.
